The Art Room

An On-Site Creative Studio for Employees

The Art Room is a professionally curated, on-site creative studio designed to give employees a meaningful pause during the workday. Created by Ebony London Art Studio (ELAS), this space invites employees to step away from their desks and engage in hands-on artmaking during lunch breaks or designated wellness hours—no prior art experience required.

This is not a craft room. The Art Room is an intentional creative environment that supports mental wellness, creative thinking, and workplace culture through guided and self-directed artistic exploration.

The Art Mediums

Each Art Room is thoughtfully set up with rotating art mediums that encourage experimentation, relaxation, and creative confidence. Mediums may include:

  • Acrylic Painting

  • Watercolor Painting

  • Mosaic Glass

  • Drawing (graphite, charcoal, ink)

  • Mixed Media & Collage

  • Jewelry Making

  • Clay

Mediums are selected based on company goals, space considerations, and employee comfort levels, with a balance of expressive, low-pressure options.

The Supplies & Materials

The Art Room is designed to remain fully functional and inviting.

Including:

  • Weekly stock of art supplies and materials

  • Organized storage systems for tools and works-in-progress

  • Protective materials (drop cloths, aprons, table coverings)

  • Clear instructions for independent use

Supply selections prioritize workplace-appropriate, low-mess, and safe materials while maintaining a high-quality creative experience.

Monthly Wellness Event with Artist Ebony London

Each month, employees are invited to participate in one guided wellness experience led by Ebony London.

These sessions may include:

  • Guided abstract painting experiences

  • Creative reflection & storytelling through art

  • Mindfulness-based artmaking

  • Group creative exploration designed to reduce stress and encourage connection
