Renting Artwork



Renting art for a period of time can be a stimulating and inexpensive way to bring original art into your business and home.


 Monthly art rental fees are approximately 10% of the total value of the displayed work(s)

Rental Agreement and Insurance

• The Lessee assumes all risks for the work once it is in their possession.

• Artwork must be insured (self-insured by the Lessee or third party insured) for 100% of the value of each work.


Sale of Artwork

• If a buyer is interested in purchasing the artwork, Ebony London must be paid the full sale price. Rental payments will not apply to sale price.


Property

• All works listed in the Agreement are the property of the Ebony London until they have been purchased and the Ebony London has been paid in full for these works.


Condition of Artwork

• Ebony London shall ensure that artwork supplied is in a condition ready for display.

• All works shall remain in a state of good repair while in possession of the Lessee.


Damage of Artwork

• The Lessee will be held responsible for any loss or damage caused by negligence including punctures.

• The Lessee shall contact Ebony London immediately to notify if damage occurs. Ebony London must consent to any restorations or repairs in writing.


Liability

• The Lessee is liable for all loss, damage or theft of the rented artwork.


Alterations

• The Lessee shall not alter the rented artwork in any way.


Artist's Copyright

• All rights reserved. No part of any artwork may be reproduced, or transmitted in any form or by any means, digital, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise without the prior permission of Ebony London.


Expiry of Agreement and Return of Artwork

• Prior expiry of Agreement, Ebony London will contact the Lessee regarding the renewal

of the Agreement. Arrangements can be made in order to assist in return of the artworks.
